Where creativity meets care.
“Art is the highest form of hope.”
-Gerhard Richter
I live in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area. Recent immigration crackdowns in Minnesota have left many in our community devastated, angry, and shaken. As I searched for ways to contribute and protest in my own way, I turned to what I know best—creating with care.
Embroidery is my meditation. It’s how I regulate my nervous system, process hard events and big emotions, and reconnect with creativity, art, and beauty. Stitching allows me to slow down and stay present when the world feels overwhelming.
These embroidery patterns below are an invitation to do the same—to prioritize self-care and regulation while also participating in quiet, intentional protest against recent immigration tactics across the country, and especially here in Minneapolis.
100% of proceeds from each purchase are donated to mutual aid efforts in Minneapolis and the surrounding metro area, helping support neighbors in tangible, immediate ways.

This pattern is a reminder that all people deserve dignity, safety, and a place to belong. The words “No one is illegal on stolen land” honor the truth that the United States was built on Indigenous land and call us to extend care—not exclusion—to our immigrant neighbors.

Care for You
In moments like these, many of us are carrying more than we have words for.
I am offering free, one-hour listening sessions for residents of the Twin Cities—a quiet, compassionate space to pause and be met exactly where you are. There is no agenda, no fixing, and no expectation to arrive with clarity. This is simply a space to breathe, speak, rest, or sit in silence if that’s what’s needed.
These sessions are an open invitation to bring whatever you’re holding—grief, anger, fear, confusion, numbness, or something you can’t yet name. I will meet you with presence, care, and respect for your lived experience.
Please note: these sessions are not therapy, counseling, or crisis support. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, or resolve mental health concerns. Instead, they offer grounded human presence—being listened to, without judgment or urgency.
Sessions are one hour, free of charge, and available to Twin Cities residents. I’m offering them for as long as I’m able, and availability may shift over time.
If this feels supportive to you right now, you’re welcome here.
We Love Minnesota.
We feel incredibly grateful for all the outpouring of love, support, encouragement from every corner of this country and the world. Our community has seen so many generous and wonderful acts of service, kind words, vigils, and protests in solidarity.
Thank you.
Keep fighting the good fight. Stay safe. Stay peaceful.
